Whimsy private events can be booked day or evening, weekday or weekend, subject to instructor availability.
Party Location Options: You arrange the space and we will bring the party to you! You may choose to have your party in a local community room, at your place of business, church or school for example. Just be sure to ensure your venue can comfortably provide the adequate space and lighting you need for your guests. Whimsy brings all the materials... but sorry, no furniture!
(Please note that travel to private residences is not a current option. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. But, travel to public spaces is still offered! Please discuss your location ideas upon booking and arranging your party plan.)

Your Regular Private Painting Party includes:

When You Schedule your Private Party:
(Please note that travel to private residences is not a current option. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. But, travel to public spaces is still offered! Please discuss your location ideas upon booking and arranging your party plan.)

Gather a minimum of 10 guests/maximum of 30 guests to attend your event. If you have less than 10 party guests, the minimum rate will still equal 10 spots so you can still proceed!

Be sure your venue can comfortably provide the space/lighting/sound support you need for your guests to feel confident and successful

Encourage your guests to commit promptly, as your date is being held specifically for you, with others being turned away. Your effort to ensure you meet the minimum is necessary

Whimsy will bring the party to you! A 30km travel credit is always applied. For travel >30km, a minimal travel fee is applied

Private parties require a 10 person minimum. If less than 10 guests attend, the total payment still represents 10 guest

Cancellations
Nobody likes to cancel a fun time! In good faith, Whimsy will hold your date for you as you plan your party but asks that you respect the fact that others are turned away when you're holding that spot. Please organize your guest list promptly to ensure that you meet the minimum requirements before asking to hold the date. Whimsy follows the red banner weather alerts and so should bad weather get in the way of your party, Whimsy will reschedule your event for you. Whimsy is a one girl show! If Nikki should have an emergency and need to cancel your event, your event will be rebooked. This is so rare but sometimes life gets in the way, thank you for understanding!
Scheduling:
When should you book your private party? The answer is the sooner the better! Whimsy will book parties for weekends or weekdays, morning, afternoon or evening... it's just a matter of if the date you're interested in is available. The calendar could fill up fast and you'll want to give your guests time to RSVP. Also, keep in mind: Children's birthday parties fill up extra fast!
Whimsy Kids Painting Party Details:
Whimsy Kids /family painting parties are a perfect way for little artists to celebrate a birthday or another event with their friends! Together they will share a similar experience as the grown-up events, and connect to their own artistic inspirations! Details for kid's parties are as follows:

Suitable for artists ages 5+ (Whimsy has created a custom kids party program for artists 3+. Please inquire directly to learn more!)

Parties include setup/clean up and materials

Allows for choice of painting pattern (custom themed art may be available with notice, please ask for details)

Approximately 2 hours of guided painting lesson; total of 3 hour party time together (to include time for cake and present openings as appropriate)

Cost is $395.00 for up to 10 children ($30/additional child)

Kid's parties are paid for in full at the time of booking. Guests do not need to register individually online for children's events.
